Welcome to our website
Fairview Childcare is truely an out of school club. We run from the Royal British Legion club and at the end of a busy day children get the chance to leave the school day behind relax, unwind and have lots of fun with friends.
My aim to deliver outstanding out of school care for the children of working parents. I appreciate the balancing act parents face in juggling work commitments and having the piece of mind that their children are safe, happy and well cared for.
Fairview is run by experienced and qualified staff and continues to consistently provide an excellent standard of care and education for young children, enabling parents to go to work, happily reassured that their children are experiencing a fun-filled time both before and after school.
Led by Katie Spicer, who has over 20 years of experience working with children in various settings from teaching in schools, children’s centres and childminding. But more importantly being a working Mum of 3 children.

After School Club
Our Staff will collect your child from school and walk them to the club. We are able to do a later pick up of 4.15/4.30pm for children wishing to take part in after school activities led by the school. Once back, snack will be available which will consist of fruit and one of the following: crumpet, bagel, brioche roll, crackers, malt loaf, carrot sticks and hummus, bread sticks and dip. Snack will be on a rolling programme so each day will be different. After snack children have the opportunity to do their home-work or practise some age appropriate key skills such as handwriting/letter formation, number skills, reading, spellings and times tables. These activities will be carried out in an informal, creative way so the children have fun whilst learning.
Children will then be able to choose from a variety of play activities, including an adult-led activity such as craft, cooking, science experiments, yoga and mindfulness activities. There will be quiet areas for relaxing and opportunities to do activities outside. After School club will be open from 3.15pm until 5.45pm. You are welcome to collect your child at any time during the course of the afternoon, as long as they are collected no later than 5.45pm. You will need to pay for the whole session even if you choose to pick your child up earlier.
